Reflect & Wander: Fall Series at Cheesequake State Park

Reconnect. Reflect. Wander.

The Reflect & Wander Fall Series invites women to slow down, connect with themselves, and embrace the beauty of nature during the autumn season. This women’s mindful hiking experience blends guided hiking, mindfulness practices, reflective exercises, and meaningful connection with other women.

Each 3-hour session combines movement and stillness, allowing participants to tune into themselves, cultivate grounding, and reflect amid the changing colors and crisp air of Cheesequake State Park.

Who It’s For

Reflect & Wander is designed for women (18+) seeking grounding, personal growth, and connection in an outdoor setting. Whether you want to move intentionally, reflect inwardly, or simply enjoy the season’s natural rhythms, these guided hikes provide space to breathe, reconnect, and grow.

What Each Session Includes

Each session blends mindful movement, reflection, and connection, and may include:

  • Guided mindful hikes (2–3 miles at a gentle, conversational pace)

  • Reflection exercises to support self-awareness and personal insight

  • Mindfulness and grounding practices to calm the mind and center the body

  • Opportunities for meaningful connection through group discussion and sharing

  • Optional activities to enhance the experience, such as:

    • Mindful walking

    • Guided reflection prompts

    • Journaling and nature-based exercises

    • Sensory awareness and grounding practices

November 8 will be the last mindful hike for the season. Reflect & Wander will take a break in December and resume in January for the Winter Series.

Preparing for Your Hike

Clothing:

  • Comfortable, moisture-wicking layers

  • Light jacket or sweater for cooler mornings

  • Hat or sunglasses for sun protection

  • Comfortable hiking shoes

What to Bring:

  • Backpack with personal items (water, snacks, medications, etc.)

  • Water and an optional light snack

  • Optional small blanket for added comfort during reflection activities

Notes & Guidelines:

  • Carry in / carry out — leave no trace

  • Trail location may shift slightly depending on conditions

  • Sit pad included (one per participant, regardless of how many sessions you attend)

  • Digital Mindfulness Photobook included (delivered once per participant)

Investment

  • $65 per hike (supplies included)
