Welcome to Steps & Sisters | Women’s Walking Club Membership

Walk. Breathe. Connect.

Gentle movement. Time in nature. Meaningful connection.

Welcome — I’m glad you’re here. This space was created for women seeking a slower, more intentional way to care for their wellbeing through walking, fresh air, and community.

A Different Way to Move

You don’t need to be fast, fit, or fearless to belong here. This walking community is about showing up as you are, moving at your own pace, and allowing nature to support your body and mind. Our walks create space to boost your mood, clear your mind, gently move your body, and connect with other women in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

The Walking Club | Founding Season

Launching May–December 2026, this seasonal walking club for adult women meets twice a month (Saturdays or Sundays) at Roosevelt Park in Edison, NJ (Middlesex County). Each walk is approximately 2.5 miles, one hour (9:00–10:00 AM), open to all fitness levels, and every walk is limited to the first 8 registrants, membership doesn't guarantee spot for any specific dates. Your $80 one-time season pass includes access to 16 walks. Spots fill quickly — RSVP early for the dates you’d like to attend. Memberships are limited for this founding season.

As a thank you for joining, members receive $10 off any Inner Strength Counseling Services event in 2026.

What to Bring

Comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing, and optionally a hat, sunscreen, or small snack. Walks take place rain or shine. If severe weather makes a walk unsafe, you will be notified in advance.

Policies

Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you’re unable to attend so someone on the waitlist can take your spot. Season pass is non-refundable. Memberships are limited for this founding season.

Waitlist

If a walk is full, email Diana Lapp at diana.lapplcsw@innerstrengthcounselingservicesllc.com to be added to the waitlist. Memberships are limited during this founding season. If the season sells out, you may join the waitlist for next year.
